Intel and Micron Introduce 64GB Single-Chip Flash Storage

Intel and Micron jointly announced a new TLC NAND memory device offering improved cost and higher storage capacity for USB, SD Flash card and consumer electronics. TLC stands for Triple-Level Cell and it offers a 20% reduction in size and will be able to produce 4TB of storage from a single wafer of the chips and 64GB single-chip Flash devices.<img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/digg/news/container/technology/popular/~4/qGCtpot0W1w" height="1" width="1"/>
