 A few months back I found a bunch of PLCC flash roms I had bought 8 years ago. At the time I was experimenting with Atari 2600 cartridges with the UV erasable eproms. Since the programmer I had was capable of programming PLCC flash roms, I figured it might be possible to put multiple games on just one flash rom. Never got around to experimenting with the flash roms though cause my eprom programmer (a Pocket Programmer 2) had died. So now, finding the flash roms again got me interested in trying to "finish what I started" and learn how to fit multiple games on a single chip. Just got some 27c512 eproms and plan to tie the higher addresses to a DIP switch so I can essentially do some manual bank switching via the DIP switch. Will post a tutorial page if I have some success. |
