Gluecode Software in the second quarter of this year plans to offer an enterprise-level version of its open source Joe application server, which is based on the Apache Geronimo application server. Gluecode’s Joe Enterprise Edition will be J2EE-compliant and support EJBs, portlets, and business process management. An integrated management console will be featured and drivers will be provided to link to other software such as the Microsoft SQL Server database. Connectors to systems such as SAP and Siebel applications will be sold in the third quarter for Joe. Gluecode will provide support services.
